Madelyn Warren

Mrs. Warren was a native of Treutlen County, Georgia and had been a resident of St. Mary’s since 2005 and was a former resident of Brunswick since 1950. She attended Georgia Teacher College. She was a secretary at Goodyear Elementary School in Brunswick.

Mrs. Warren was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, Ga.

Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James A. Warren.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, James A. Warren (Jane) of Fernandina Beach, Fl., grandson, James A. Warren, III (Inga) of Fernandina Beach, Fl., granddaughter, Amy W. French (John) of Fairhope, AL., great grandchildren, James A. Warren, IV, Emma Jane Warren, Sullivan Marie Warren, Tillery French, and John French, a sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie Kate Reese (Tom) of

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 AM Saturday 9/17/11 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. James E. Crandall officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM in the Lake Cemetery in Metter, Ga.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 9 to 10 AM Saturday, and contributions can be made to the Magnolia Manor of St. Mary’s, 4695 Charlie Smith, Sr., Highway, St. Mary’s , Georgia 31558.
