

Mrs. Woodcock was a lifelong resident of Brunswick, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Silas and Mary Register Davis. She was also the loving wife of the late Marvin Ephraim Woodcock. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Brunswick, Georgia and a member of the adult Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Keith Burch, Chris Boyd, and Richard Kemp will officiate the service. The burial will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving during the service will be Chris Flowers, Randy Poston, Jimmy Poston, Alton Roland, Wayne Thigpen, and Joey Manning.
Mrs. Woodcock was preceded in death by her mother and father Mary R. and Silas Davis; her caring husband Marvin Ephraim Woodcock; two sons, Jim Beckworth and Virgil Woodcock; four grandchildren, Jody Lane, Julie Lane, Jason Woodcock, and Tanya Vincent; one sister Lucille Thower; and a brother Rufus Davis. She is survived by a daughter Brenda Lane (Terry) of Brunswick, GA; two sons Leonard Woodcock (Betty Jean) of Brunswick, GA, Paul Woodcock (Elle) of Brunswick, GA; five grandchildren, Kelvin Lane, Johnny Woodcock, Becky Fawcett, Amanda Anderson, and Silas Woodcock; one sister Vera Beasley of Hortense, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Woodcock loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also took great pleasure in shopping with her best friend Louise. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. However, her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
