

Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Rocha, Sr. and Manuela Canas Rocha, and two nephews, Paul Rocha and Marcus Rocha. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Mary McClure Rocha and daughter, Pamela Collins (Steve) of Alpharetta, Ga. Other survivors include; brothers Tony Rocha (Charlotte), Roy Rocha (Opal), sisters Irene Benton (Robert), and Connie Moseley, Uncle Manual Connie Canas (Lynette), several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was a 1958 graduate of Glynn Academy and graduated from South Georgia Trade & Vocational School in Americus, GA in 1959. Manuel went on to serve in the Air National Guard for 6 years and retired from AT&T after 48 years of service.
Manuel was, also, a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a member of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. For over 45 years he and his wife were an instrumental part of the Brunswick Blessing of the Fleet in honor of his Portuguese heritage. He was an avid fisherman and loved sending out his fishing reports to friends and family. He loved his family and would help anyone that needed him at the drop of a hat.
A visitation for Manuel will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 405 Howe Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 405 Howe Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520. A burial will occur at Palmetto Cemetery, Brunswick, GA.
