

Margaret Manor Warren, 91, a resident of Brunswick, died May 22, 2010 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA. Mrs. Warren was born March 24, 1919 in Grady County, GA to the late Macon L. Manor and Viola Langley. She was retired from the Glynn County School System. She was a faithful member of the Sterling Church of God and was a Sunday School teacher for 56 years. She earned her Masters in Teaching from the Church of God and was awarded several plaques for outstanding accomplishments.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her husbands, Troy Douglas, Levi Sumner and George Warren, and a son Daniel Douglas.
Survivors are one daughter, Colleen Walden (James R.) of Brunswick, three sons, Rev. Harry Douglas (Mary aka Midge) of Middleburg, FL, Curtis Douglas (Flo) of Milledgeville, GA, and Wayne Douglas (Joanne) of Jesup, GA two brothers, Jerome T. (aka Jerry) Manor (Jimmie Lou) of Brunswick, William L. (aka Bill) Manor of Riceboro, GA, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Sterling Church of God with Rev. James Walden, Rev. Harry Douglas, and Rev. Ronnie Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Palmetto Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons: (David Walden, Mike Douglas, and Art Douglas), Clint Giles, Keith McDowell, and Joey Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sterling Church of God Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm Monday, May 24, 2010.
