Marilyn Holtzendorf Callaway

Marilyn Holtzendorf Callaway, 68, of Brunswick, departed this life February 24, 2016 at SGHS Glynn. Graveside services will be held at 11Am Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Palmetto Cemetery with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.

Born February 28, 1947 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Reginald L. and Dorothy S. Holtzendorf, she was the owner operator of Shady Acres Mobile Home Park and Holtz Enterprises. Ms. Callaway was a graduate of Glynn Academy and was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. She was a member of Blyth Island Baptist Church, enjoyed riding her Harley-Davidson, was a lifelong member of the NRA, and loved spending time at the Altamaha River. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Reggie Holtzendorf.

Survivors include two children, Angie Morris and husband David, and John McCallum and wife Marie of Brunswick, 6 grandchildren, Johnathon Young, Alexandra Wilson, Caitlin McCallum, Dylan Spry, Christopher Spry, and Dustin Morris, 2 great grandchildren, Caroline Spry and Avery Spry.

The family will receive friends at Ms. Callaways residence, 115 Fernwood Drive, Brunswick, GA, from 7PM until Friday evening. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.edomillerandsons.com
