

Marilyn Joyce Haynie, of Macon Georgia, passed away the 2nd of May 2017 at her residence, at the age of 63. She was born and lived the majority of her life in Brunswick, Georgia. Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, and tending to her grape vines. She had a talent for singing and playing the guitar, and had several hobbies, including wine making, quilting, and soap making.
She is survived by her two sons, Craig (Christin) Haynie and Jimmy (Judy) Haynie, three sisters, Jeanne Haynie, Wanda (Michael) Reed, Sandra (Patrick) O'Shea, a brother, Jack (Van) Haynie, three grandsons, Matthew, Noah and Eric, and two granddaughters, Caroline and Catherine "Catie" Grace, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Nelda Joyce Haynie, her father, Jack Leonard Haynie, her step-mother, Peggy Fay Haynie, as well her maternal grandparents, Henry Grady (Mary Ann) Nichols and her paternal grandparents, Robert Benjamin Haynie and Claudia (Charlie) Owens.
A visitation will be held Saturday, the 6th of May 2017 at 10:00 a.m. till 11 a.m. at Edo Miller Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA. Funeral services will be held graveside at 11:30am with burial immediately following at Palmetto Cemetery.
Serving active pallbearers will be Jason Reed, Mike Reed, Josh Douglas, Jonathan Stover, Matthew Haynie, and Stewart Harris.
