Marilyn Joyce Lilly, age 80 of St. Simons Island, passed on August 2, 2012 at Golden Isles Hospice in Brunswick, GA. Joyce’s great passion, enjoyment and love was teaching piano pupils of all ages. Her college education was in Texas. She attended Lovely Lane Chapel at Epworth with her late husband, Don Lilly.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheree Sonfield of Rossland, British Columbia, Canada and a stepson, Patt Lilly of St. Joseph, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00am at Lovely Lane Chapel on the grounds of Epworth by the Sea with Reverend Jim Rush officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525. Please be sure to indicate the gift is memorializing Joyce Lilly and the outstanding care she received from all the caring and professional hospice people.
