My sweet and precious grandmother passed on from this earth to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 30th about 8:15. a.m. There are no adequate words to describe what a wonderful lady she was. She was one of the hardest workers I've ever known, the BEST cook ever, a lover of her family, and she was never late to work or anywhere that she went. She believed if you had a job or task to do that there was only one way to do it, and that was the right way. I will forever be thankful for all that she taught me through her actions and the way that she lived her life. She just celebrated her 100th birthday on July 3rd. What a legacy she has left. We love you granny and we will see you again in heaven. You were an example for all of us and we will cherish the wonderful memories that we have of you.❤️❤️

I have enjoyed taking care of your mother. She was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed listening to her talk about the " old days". She will be missed.

Aunt Martha Lee was one of my favorite aunts. I loved going to her house and playing with my cousins. She was a great lady and I loved her dearly. Rest in peace and tell mama and daddy I love and will never forget them.

I have been SO blessed to have had such wonderful parents and to be raised in a loving household. Mama & Daddy ALWAYS provided. I never once went hungry. I always had everything I needed and most of what I wanted. Mama's quality of life the last few years has not been good. She was mostly confined to either the bed or wheelchair. And, her last few days she was mostly incoherent. BUT, now she is at Peace. No more pain. No more suffering. For years she has been wanting to go home – now she IS home!!! She is reunited with Daddy and reveling in all of GOD's glory!!! KNOWING this gives me solace.
Please cut and paste the following link. It pretty well sums up Mama’s kindness and love.
