Marvin James Anderson

Marvin James Anderson, 70, of Brunswick, died Monday, June 23, 2014 at Magnolia Manor on St. Simons Island. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 27, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Lane Sastre officiating. Born July 22, 1943 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late John I. and Sara M. Anderson, he was retired from Sea Island. He attended the Salvation Army Church and was an avid fisherman, and collector of coins and baseball cards. He also enjoyed traveling and was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn E. Anderson. Survivors include children, Tammy A. Robinson and husband Jimmy, and Ward Anderson and wife Julie all of Hortense, four grandchildren, Lisa Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Phillip Anderson, and Trinity Anderson, two sisters, Shirley Howard of Darien, and Patsy Bullard of Brunswick, and a brother, Jerry Anderson of Kingsland.
