Mary Goins Plyler, 69, of Waynesville, departed this life Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 6PM until 8 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Born July 15, 1947 in Brunswick to the late Cecil and Lillian Bowen Goins, she was a homemaker and was a member of College Place United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1965 and received an Associate’s Degree from Brunswick Community College. She enjoyed crafts, sculpting, and making jewelry, as well as spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, of 34 years, Bill Plyler of Waynesville, a sister Celia Bush of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a brother James Goins of Brunswick, a special niece, Lisi, and three nephews, Alex, Dylan, and Andre.
