Mary Lorena Salter

On November 19, 2012 heaven received another angel, Mary Lorena Salter, who was affectionately known as “Mary” by her family and friends. She passed away at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Funeral Services will be held 2PM Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dawn Mayes officiating. Entombment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park.

She was born on January 11, 1928 in Brunswick, Georgia, where she met the love of her life of 52 years, Linwood Ross Salter who preceded her in death on April 19, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, J. W. And Corine Greenfield of Brunswick, Georgia, and a grandson Scott Jackson,

She is survived by three sons, Buddy Jackson (Sandy), Terry Jackson (Tean) of Brunswick, Larry Jackson (Linda) of McDonough,GA. She has two grandsons, Ellette Jackson (Sharon) and Terrance Jackson (Debbie) of Brunswick, she has five grand-daughters, Tammy Hamilton (Tommy) of Acworth, GA, Wendy Erwin (Glenn) of Hoschton, GA., Cindy Williams (Darrell) of Acworth, GA, Sandy Smith (Russell), of Kennesaw, GA., Ginni Jackson of Kennesaw, GA.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and had been a member of The Amaranth. She was a very devoted wife and mother. She loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with family.

Mary was our family strength, she will be greatly missed and our hearts ache.
