Melissa Newbern

Melissa’s greatest passion in life was her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, and caring for her father. She found joy in cooking for her family, tending to her garden, fishing, and, most of all, having a great time with the people she loved. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished the moments they shared together.

Melissa was a truly giving person with a heart of gold. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer what she could to others. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of those around her, and she had a way of making people feel loved and cared for. She gave freely, loved deeply, and found happiness in being there for the people who mattered to her.

She is survived by her children Amanda Paro, Mack Newbern, and Jacob & Casey Newbern, Shelby Miller, Nathanial Flanagan & Destiny Gantt, and Ashton Flanagan; and her beloved grandchildren, Jacie Newbern, Kadence Newbern, Peyton Miller, Tristen Newbern, Elana Newbern, Abbigayle Paro, Stella Miller, George “Tripp” Miller, and Ellvie Mae Newbern.

Melissa will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her generous spirit, kind heart, unconditional love for her family, and the countless memories she created with those around her will forever remain in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
