Minor Winn Pryor

Minor W. Pryor, 66, of Brunswick, departed this life Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted at 11AM Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick with Chaplain Gareth Alcott officiating.

Born December 11, 1952 in Macon, Georgia to the late Walter D. Pryor, Sr. and Lois W. Pryor, he was a veteran of The U.S. Air Force. Mr. Pryor had been a resident of Glynn County since 2001, moving from Gray, Georgia. He was a member of St. Simons United Methodist Church and was employed at The Frederica Club on St. Simons Island. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, cooking and was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter D. Pryor, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Carla R. Pryor of Brunswick, two children, Kate Pryor Lehman, and John Carlton Pryor and wife Heather, and a grandson Ryan Carlton Lehman, all of Brunswick.

We desperately wish we could be with you and all your family today to celebrate the incredible life that Minor lead. He was a remarkable person who we both instantly loved. Such kind and gentle souls are rare, he was a gem. Please know our hearts are with you even though we can not be.
