Murray Lee Rogers, 96, of Brunswick departed this life Monday, September 28, 2026 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday, October 5, 2026 at Odum Cemetery in Odum, GA with Roy Polman officiating.
Born November 1, 1929 in Worth County, Georgia to the late Dewey Royal and Juliavester F. Rogers, he was a retired iron worker. Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the US Navy. He loved hunting and fishing in his prime years, working on his yard and enjoying his rocking chair in his shop.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Elizabeth Rogers, two sons Michael Lee Rogers and Steven Gregory Rogers, as well as six siblings.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Rogers and wife Leigh of CA, two granddaughters Addie Price and husband John, and Adrianne Prescott and husband Richard all of Brunswick, two great-grandchildren, Shelby Price and Zerrick Prescott, a daughter-in-law, Rita Rogers of Brunswick, a sister, Jeannene Hooks of Macon, and many nieces and nephews.
