Nell Lee Withrow

Nell Withrow, 83, of Blythe Island, departed this life Monday, December 25, 2017 at SGHS Glynn. Memorial services will be conducted at 1PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Blythe Island Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Webb officiating.

Born September 6, 1934 in Pierce County, Georgia to the late E.O. and Annie Mae J. Lee, she attended Virginia Intermont College, in Bristol, Virginia and also attended UGA satellite colleges in the coastal area. Mrs. Withrow was a clerical skills instructor at Brunswick Job Corps and had been a resident of Glynn County since 1976. She was a member of Blythe Island Baptist Church, was an avid gardener and horticulturist, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Carl Claude Withrow.

Survivors include four children, Terry Roberts and husband Michael of Jesup, John Withrow and wife Tina of Sylvania, Jodi Todd of Brunswick, and Wade Withrow and wife Michelle of Clermont, GA, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Blythe Island Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Speech, Hearing, and Rehabilitation Enterprises (SHARE) of Coastal Georgia, Inc., 2228 Starling Street, Brunswick, GA 31520.
