Nicholas Alexander Mayfield Sr.

Nicholas Alexander Mayfield Sr. 40, of Brunswick GA, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. A celebration of life will be conducted from 6 to 8 PM Monday December 12, 2022, at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Avenue Brunswick, GA 31520.

Born March 5, 1982, in Fort Worth, TX to Robert Dean Mayfield and Yolanda Victoria Jones. He lived in Fayetteville GA for many years, finally making his home in Brunswick in 2012. Nick as most called him was an avid sports fan being a #1 fan for the Atlanta Falcons, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Hawks. He enjoyed playing XBOX with his son Alex. He was employed by Ernie and Mary Knight owners of Floor Décor and Restoration Imports, that he thought of as family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles Richard Jones Sr., and Margie M. Jones, paternal grandparents Elmer Dean Mayfield, Ruby Jane Mayfield, Aunt Sheila C. West, Uncle Charles (Richie) Jones Jr.

Survivors include his son Nicholas Alexander Mayfield Jr., father Robert Dean Mayfield and wife Jackie Ruth Mayfield, his mother Yolanda Victoria Jones, stepfather David Wayne Martin Sr., step grandmother Sarah Faye Mayfield, step grandfather Norman Daniel Frank, two stepsisters Nicol Brookes, and Michelle Harris, a stepbrother Mark Morrison, and several nieces and nephews.
