Olga Booker, 100, died Sunday September 11, 2001 in the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga.
Mrs. Booker was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Booker and her granddaughter, Carol Landen Wright.
Throughout her life she was a very giving person. In particular she gave many years of volunteer service to the Salvation Army in Bedford, Indiana.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Glenn Landen of St. Simons, her grandson and his wife, Paul and Carolyn Landen, great grandchildren, Ben and Mary Landen, Robert and Steve Slupecki and her great great granddaughter, Savana Slupecki.
Her inurnment will be held at 11 AM Saturday 9/17/11 at the Christ Church Columbium on St. Simons Island, Ga.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in charge of arrangements.
