

Patricia (Patsy) Jones Horton born December 22nd 1941, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on August 25th 2026 surrounded by family. Patsy was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Jones Jr. (Louvenia) where she attended Westminster and Northside High School. She was a cheerleader and graduated in 1959.
After high school Patsy attended Brenau Women’s College in Gainesville, Georgia where she became a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. In her young adulthood she became a shoe model where she coined her signature motto “If you like it, buy it in every color”.
Throughout her life she enjoyed activities such as golfing, boating, philanthropy, and shopping. She boated her entire life on Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona and later on Saint Simons Island with her husband Bill when they moved in 1995. Patsy was a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and volunteered helping mentally challenged children. She belonged to the Hampton Club and enjoyed playing golf with her ladies group and having lunch with the Doo Dahs. Patsy worked for her father at his business House of Shutters in Atlanta and later became the owner when he retired.
She is survived by her daughters Virginia (Ginger) Ison Andersen and Diane Ison Linville, three grandchildren Matthew Andersen (Taylor), Lindsey Andersen Morris (Wes), and Jessica Linville and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Louvenia Jones, her father Herman Jones Jr, and her husband William (Bill) Horton.
The family will receive friends at Edo Miller in Brunswick, Ga on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5-7pm and Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 3:30-5:30pm where she will be entombed.
