

Patsy Walker Manning, 64, of Brunswick, departed this life Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Memorial services will be held at 11AM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at The Grace Place in Brunswick with elders Craig DeLoach and Ron Scarboro officiating.
Born September 15, 1952 in Jesup, Georgia to the late Oliver B. and Gertrude D. Walker, she was a graduate of Brunswick High School Class of 1970. She had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 56 years and was a member of Brunswick Primitive Baptist Church, now known as The Grace Place. Mrs. Manning enjoyed karaoke at Toucans, and loved the beach, fishing, and breakfast at The Huddle House. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and expressing her sense of humor and laughter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary William Manning.
Survivors include her dear companion, Stephen Parker, Sr. of Brunswick, two daughters, Heather M. Pitts of Waycross, Melissa Martinez and husband Jose, and like a daughter Miranda Oglesby Austin, all of Brunswick, grandchildren, Alexis Brown and husband Cartez, Gary Manning, Triston Pitts, Marcus Pitts, Connor Pitts, Joanna Martinez, Julia Martinez, Carmen Martinez, Jose Martinez, III, and Jimena Martinez, a great grandchild, Malachi Brown, four sisters, Josephine Daughtry, Marilyn Odom and husband Bobby, all of Brunswick, Judy Denman and husband Brad of Thomasville, GA, and Peggy Ward of Gainesville, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
