Mrs. Whitehead was born in Atlanta, Ga., April 12, 1937, to the late Elmer and Marian Wix.
In addition to Mrs. Whitehead’s parents she is preceded in death by her daughters Elaine Whitehead, Catherine Obirek and son James Whitehead.
She is survived by her son-in-law Paul Obirek of St. Simons Island, a cousin Nancy Samples of Stone Mountain, GA and an aunt Shirley Ivey of Stone Mountain, GA.
Patsy will be laid to rest, privately next to her daughter Elaine at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
