Paul was the cherished son of Raymond and Irene Shaw and grew up as one of six siblings in the vibrant city of Boston. His adventurous spirit led him to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1965, a time that instilled in him a deep sense of duty and camaraderie.
In pursuit of a fulfilling career, Paul moved to Miami, Florida, where he attended and graduated from the Lindsey Hopkins Education Center as a dental technician. He dedicated many years to his craft, running his own business before joining the esteemed practice of Drs. Olin and Paul Thompson and Dr. Brandon Clement, upon relocating to St. Simons Island in 1988.
Paul's life was enriched by his enduring love for his wife, Judy K. Shaw, with whom he shared 60 ½ wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised three children, instilling in them the values of love, hard work, and creativity. Paul was a devoted father to his sons, Darren James Shaw, Ryan Paul Shaw, Kellie Shaw Killick. A proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Leighton Shaw, Mason A. Shaw, and Cooper E. Shaw. He found immense joy in their laughter and accomplishments, and his legacy will live on through them.
