Penny was born December 7, 1962 in LaGrange, Georgia. She was a devoted school bus driver with Glynn County Board of Education for 24 years. She enjoyed spending her time fishing, watching her grandsons play football and her granddaughter cheerleading. She was an avid football fan for Glynn Academy. She was the loudest one in the stands and carried her penny filled milk jugs to every game. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Penny is preceded in death by her father, Billy Anglin and her brother in law, Ronnie Bagley.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, James Smith; her two daughters, Jessica Partin and Angela Smith Sikes (Bobby); her mother, Myrna Spoonamore; her siblings, Ricky Anglin (Ginny), Debbie Bagley and Wiley Simons (Mary); and three grandchildren, Allen Partin, Shawn Partin and Cassidy Partin.
Funeral service will be 7:00PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
