Ralph Paul Conner

Ralph P. Conner, 56, of St. Simons Island, departed this life Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 4323 15th Street East Beach on St. Simons Island with Rev. Jim Jensen officiating and a private family internment to follow.

Born January 30, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to William L. and Nellie Mae Conner, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1977. Mr. Conner had been a resident of Glynn County since 1968 and was a retired firefighter with The Glynn County Fire Department. He was also an associate with Harris Teeter on St. Simons Island. He was a member of St. Simons Community Church and enjoyed spending time on the beach, FSU Football and was a movie and music buff.

Survivors include his son, Robert Conner, parents, William L. and Nellie Mae Conner, a sister Genea Conner all of Brunswick, a brother Ron Conner of Cleveland, GA, former wife Carol Conner of St. Simons, a nephew, Chad McCarthy and wife Chelly, and a niece, Annie McCarthy.
