Dear Debbie and Joycelyn,
I am so sorry I couldn't make it to your Father's service today but I have been thinking about you and about him.  He was one of the kindest and most gracious of men - a true gentleman - always there to lend a helping hand.  I worked with him at Fort Frederica for 8 years and saw first hand the beauty of his skills and craftsmanship in masonry and carpentry.  He is  solely responsible for the expert restoration work that was done at Fort Frederica - he restored all of the foundation ruins, the King's Magazine, and the Barracks Building.  He loved and respected his co-workers, loved his fishing adventures,  and driving his restored 1960's red convertible!  Please know you have my heartfelt condolences.  I know how much he loved you!     Ellen Kennedy


Mr. Ramsey was a wonderful neighbor.
When my husband was sick Mr. Ramsey would come to visit and would sometimes bring fresh fish for us. Said he didn't like them but liked to fish. My husband passed away after being bedridden for three months. He really liked Mr

Dear Debbie and Jocelyn,
I’m deeply saddened by the passing of your father and my little brother.  
Due to my age, I’ve been advised to avoid areas with high COVID positivity rates.  It vexes my Spirit that I will not be able to attend the funeral because Narris and I were very close growing up.  
Early on Narris was an impeccable dresser.  His clothes had to be clean and pressed with crisp creases as though he was in the military.  In an effort to help him get to school on time, I ironed his clothes.  If his creases were not right, he would let me know in no uncertain terms.  Furthermore, he would not leave the house until the creases were perfect and he looked dapper.  
It’s hard losing my last brother but I know he is in a better place because he knew the Lord.
In closing, may the Almighty God comfort you and your family in time of need.
