Daddy oh daddy! How I miss you terribly. My best memories would take a whole book. Lets just say you were a bunch of fun to Rick, Katelyn, Shelly, Aaron, Meagan & her children as well as me. Well when we weren't in trouble that is. *insert smiley face* I know you cant read this but I know in my heart that your soul can feel it.I LOVE & MISS YOU SO MUCH! OH AND THE  DAWGS DID SO GOOD THIS SEASON! THEY DIDN'T WIN BUT YOU'D BE PROUD OF HOW FAR THEY MADE IT.  
Sorry it took this long but somehow I had no idea this existed until I Googled your name today to find videos of you belly Dancing for The Alee Temple Shriner's on St. Patrick's Day.

Richard was a dear childhood friend and high school classmate of mine and my brother, David Lee, who passed away in 2013.  I am so pleased I was able to correspond with my friend Richard through e-mail this past year, we had fun reliving childhood events, and Richard brought me up to date on other friends as I have been in Augusta for 36 years.  My sincere condolences to his family, Richard was upbeat and jolly to the end and I am sure he is making the angles laugh now.  I will miss my friend and the joy of corresponding with him. I just found out this morning about the passing of a dear friend, HVJ classmate and fellow Shriner. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Haven't been able to get on here & say much, my head is getting a little clearer although my heart continues to be heavy. I really thought dad was going to overcome his battles but it seemed that God had other plans for this ole Railroading Shriner.
 I've been looking through some old pics & imma tell ya they are so old I barely remember getting them taken, had to think real hard....but on a serious note I'm not going to sugar coat things, my dad was old school, meaning he had pride, class, dignity and he displayed it in his cloths, rides, & being one Hell of a Shriner who devoted countless hours to the crippled & burned children off the world, he made a difference. I didn't always see eye to eye with dad because he was a foot & 1/2 shorter than me but he did what he thought was right & although it kept me out of trouble (mostly) I still found some way to spend 40 hours a week in prison, that's only because I work there, so he gets his credits. I'm gonna wrap this up by saying I do wish you would come fishing in the mountains with me sometime dad I'll always have a place on my boat for you & some Miller Lites, you'll forever be etched in my heart, I LOVE YOU!!!

My dear friend, you suffered for so long but few knew your pain.  You were a trooper and made others feel good just to talk to you.  We started our life adventure in 1965, then married and were blessed with two wonderful children, Rick and Stephanie.  Our path was to go seperate ways for many years then we found each other again as close friends.  That friendship grew and we became the best of friends, sharing laughs, memories and secrets.  I learned to appreciate your late night calls and often those calls began with "Guess where I am" and I would answer, "Not again."  We shared the pride we feel for our granddaughter Katelyn.  She easily became the light of our lives and she will forever remember your reactions when we sent you pictures while she tried on bathing suits and prom dresses.  You were a tuff Pepa when a bit too much was showing.  I had to redesign this year's prom dress to get your approval.  I could write forever but that would take a book so I will close with, "Rest in peace dear friend, walk, breathe  and run with ease, rest on the river bank and drop a hook with Daddy, thank you for our kids, tell all hello and I am at peace knowing you found GOD and the path to Heaven and eternal life."

Rick was such a wonderful person.  He was a great friend and neighbor.
He will be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.
