He is survived by his parents, James and Bobbie Jean Lane; his wife, Elaina Lane; 2 children, Chance and Alyssa Lane; 2 step-children, Justin and Caleb Carter; 11 brothers and sisters; James Lane, Jr. (Cindy), Bobby Lane (Kristin), Willie Lane (Cherry), Marion Cason (Richard), Keisha Lane, Wendy Lane, Michael Lane, Tasha Dean, Tonnilyn Dean, Chris Holton and Brittany Woodard; his grandmother, Dora Lane and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Sterling Church of God with Reverend Larry Daughtry officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Lane, Willie Lane, James Lane Jr., Michael Lane, Richard Cason and Mark Garbutt. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery.
