Dick was loving husband to Lee Isla, father to Mary, Greg (Patti), Tina (Roger), Terry (Darlene), Paul (Olga), Walt, Tom (Lupe), Rick (Vicky), Sue, Johnny (Brenda) and Mark, blessed with 20 grandchildren and 17 great grands, best friend and big brother to Bill (Linda) and Don (Susanne).
He was preceded in death by his first wife Ila Mildred, parents John Lee and Mazie Luna, brother John and sister Marilyn.
He was born May 5, 1936 in Elmira, NY and had lived in New York and California before visiting Brunswick 11 years ago, where he met Lee Isla and never left. He was home. The love they shared carried them countless miles on trips across the country seeing landmarks and visiting family and friends. They spend countless hours hunting (or trying to) at Cabbage Bluff, sharing the time and just enjoying the chance to be together. And of course the shared hope of finally hitting that big jackpot.
Dick’s legacy he leaves with us is that of love, strength, friendship and encouragement. Strength to go on and embrace, enjoy and appreciate whatever may be next. His ability to do just that created this blended family and we are all grateful and better for it.
