Richard Alan Warner

Mr. Warner was a native of Columbus, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1968 and was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1978. He was employed with the Glynn County Board of Education in the Transportation Department.

Mr. Warner was a member and Choir Director of the Christian Renewal Center in Brunswick. He loved gardening, golf, choir, family, church and his faith. He played the Trumpet.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Pifer Warner, a son, Randall Warner, a daughter, Allie Warner all of Brunswick, his parents, Reginald M and Glenda Poole Warner of Columbus, Ga., two brothers, Ronald Matthew Warner and James Randall Warner both of Columbus, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM Friday 4/1/11 in the Christian Renewal Center in Brunswick with Pastor Bill Ligon, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: John Googe, Jason Googe, Al Crouch, Mark Taylor, Joe Stone and Brian Hope. Honorary pallbearers will be: Christian Renewal Choir and Couples Oasis.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Thursday 3/31/11.
