Robert Dillon Naves

Robert Dillon Naves, 23, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Visitation will be at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home Monday, June 29, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow the service in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers serving during the service are David Naves, Travis Strickland, Jon Livingston, Wesley Wooten, Chris Groover, Sam Hutchenson.

Robert was a lifelong native of Brunswick, GA, born June 11, 1992. He was the son of David and Tonya Strickland Naves. He was a 2010 class graduate of Brunswick High and attended the Coastal Pines Technical College in Brunswick majoring in machine technology. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to observe nature’s beauty. His toughness was recognized when just he and the Harley took a solo ride on the Tail of the Dragon in 34 degree weather. He had the road all to himself and he “got the shirt”.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Lindon Naves; maternal grandmother Aggie Strickland; maternal grandmother Helen Altman. Mr. Naves is survived by his parents; a brother David Lindon Naves; sister Nicole Gentry; paternal grandmother Delores Naves Burns (Bobby); maternal grandfather Bill Strickland; maternal step-grandfather Coleman Altman. Robert is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and other family members .
