A graveside service will be held at 2pm Sunday at E L Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Twin City, GA
Ruby was born in Metter, GA on May 1, 1914 to Andrew and Florrie Davis.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Randall Hughes, Sr., and a sister, Nell Donaldson, formerly of Twin City, GA.
Ruby is survived by her son, Claude Randall Hughes, Jr. (Rae) of St. Simons Island; a niece, Vernell Iler of Eatonton, GA; a great-niece, Debbie Baird (Lee) also of Eatonton, GA; and a great-nephew, Barry Coleman (Joy) of Swainsboro, GA.
Contributions in Ruby’s honor can be made to the Heart Association of Glynn County, 1600 Ellis St, Brunswick GA 31520.
Mrs. Hughes arrangements have been placed into the care of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
