Saundra Rebecca Shell Shell Moore

Saundra was a native of Griffin, GA. and was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy. She was a member of the St. Simons United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Pearl C. Shell and a brother, Jerry Shell.

Survivors are a daughter Kim Woods (Mario) of Brunswick, two sons, Jim Moore (Jane) of Savannah, GA., and Lane Moore (Alicia) of St. Simons Island, two sisters, Nancy Smith (Johnny) of St. Simons Island, and Pat Langfelder (Jay) of Ponda Verda Beach, FL., two brothers, Lamont Shell(Betty) of St. Simons Island and Jim Shell (Betty) of Franklin, TN.,a sister-in-law, Betty Shell of Brunswick, grandchildren, Lexie Woods, Jake Woods, Ashley Moore, Molly Moore, Ella Moore, and David Moore, a great grandchild, Hayley Johnson and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dearest friend Madge McKenzie.

She enjoyed bridge, cooking, and her family. She will always be remembered for her “FAMILY FUN DAY” get together.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM Thursday and request in lieu of flowers contributions to the American Diabetics Association.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM Friday 11/18/11 at the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery in Brunswick with Rev. Marsha Cochran officiating.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
