Sherry Lynn Tucker Ray

Sherry Tucker Ray, 53, a resident of Brunswick, died Saturday at her residence in Brunswick. Mrs. Ray was a native of Irwin County, Ga. and had been a resident of Brunswick for 47 years. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1974. She was employed with King and Prince Seafood for the past 24 years. She was preceded in death by her father, J. Burnell Tucker. Survivors are her husband, Ricky Ray of Brunswick, her son, Christopher Alan Smith (Ashley Dunnigan) of Panama City Beach, Fl., two daughters, Michelle Edenfield (Raymond) of St. Mary’s ,Ga. and Dannielle Ray of Summersville, WV., her mother, Jacquelyn Tucker of Brunswick, sister, Tammie Drury (Alfred) of Brunswick, seven grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Friday 11/13/09 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell joiner officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Robbie lane, Chris Drury, Donnie Drury, Alton Gregory, Ronnie Carver and Marc Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be: Raymond Edenfield, Alexander Burnell Smith, Giovanni Drury, Tanner Edenfield and Marshall Gregory.
