Mrs. Pierce, a native of Darien for 70 years, graduated from Glynn Academy and was a co-owner of Boone Seafood where she was in charge of accounting for 40 years. Mrs. Pierce dearly loved her family.
Survivors include her three daughters, Michelle White (Mark), Mitzi Pearson (David) and Melinda Leon; two sons, Matthew Varnum and Derrick Varnum (Haley); four grandchildren, Ashley Burke, Barry White, Chelsey Rhodes and Isaac Leon; great grandchildren, Trace Hunter, Michael Burke and Dayton Rhodes. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 500 McIntosh Drive in Darien, Georgia with Bishop Randy Glenn officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery, Brunswick.
