Tamela Faye Wooten

Tamela Faye Wooten, 65, of Brunswick departed this life Sunday, September 14, 2025 at SGHS Brunswick Campus. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Born April 28, 1960 in Vidalia, Georgia to the late James Louis and Joy Faye F. Smith, she was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. Mrs. Wooten was a cook at Chic King in Brunswick. She graduated from Brunswick High School Class of 1978. She enjoyed sightseeing in the mountains, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Marty Allen Wooten, two sons, Daniel Wooten and wife Audrey and Dusty Wooten and wife Chelsea all of Brunswick, five grandchildren, Dylan Wooten, Tyler Wooten and wife Sarah, Hunter Wooten, and Lizzi Wooten, four great grandchildren, Bubba Wooten, Parker Rose Wooten, Walker Wooten, and Hazel Wooten, three step grandchildren, Benjamin Carter, Jr., Rylie Carter, and Khloe Carter, two brothers, James Smith and wife Genelda , and Richard Smith and wife Susan all of Brunswick, and a sister, Linda Wooten and husband Donald of Brunswick.
