Terry Franklin Roberts

Born May 5, 1968, in Augusta, Georgia at Saint Joseph Hospital, he was the beloved son of Marget Padgett and Eddie Leon Padgett and grew up in the CSRA area. Terry was a master contractor who took great pride in his work, generously sharing his skills and mentoring others along the way.

Above all, Terry was a devoted father and Papa. To his daughters, Amanda Roberts (Rafael Rodriguez), Megan Roberts, and Hope Roberts, he was their constant source of strength and encouragement. His grandchildren—Kaitlyn Rodriguez, John Whitfield, Damien Rodriguez, Lyla Moody, Louella Moody, and Calliope Rodriguez—were the light of his life. He cherished time in the mountains and was known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his daughters; grandchildren; siblings Susan Lange, Jerry and Judith Roberts, James and Lisa Cleitt, Jennifer Watts, and Christel Padgett; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home to help cover funeral costs.

Terry’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be remembered always.
