

A native of Philadelphia, Ted was born September 19, 1947 to Mary C. Paisley and Thomas Edwin Paisley, Jr. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and earned his MBA while serving in the National Guard. In 1972, he began his career with Pittsburgh National Corporation, which culminated as Senior Vice President and Chairman, Corporate Credit Policy Committee. In 2002 he retired, and has since been a resident of Saint Simon's Island, Georgia, where he was an active member of The Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club. He served on the Boards of the St. Andrew’s Society of Pittsburgh, Young Man’s Christian Association (YMCA) of Pittsburgh, Visiting Nurses Association and Laser Power San Diego. He was a member of the Duquesne Club, Pittsburgh. He was philanthropically supportive of animal organizations including the American Society of Prevention Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
Ted is survived by Juleene, his wife of 32 years, and her children Peyton and Aaron; his children Gwendolyn, Thomas and Hugh, and daughter-in-law Meghann; his granddaughters Caitlin, Reilly, and Mcallister; his sister, Melissa, her husband Nick, and their children Dana and Peter; and his four-legged companions Sally, Edward, Lizzy and Creamsicle.
Ted will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, strong values, wisdom, and wonderful sense of humor. Ted was a lifetime animal rescuer and was passionate about respecting, admiring and enjoying everything and everyone around him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
