Timon T. Rozier, age 83, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 14, 2022 under the loving care of Hospice of the Golden Isles. Tim T. Rozier, as he was affectionately known, was born to Theodore Taft Rozier and Louise Sarah Howard Rozier in Ludowici, Georgia. The family moved to Brunswick Georgia when Tim was 7, He attended Brunswick local Schools and also attended Brunswick College, currently known as College of Coastal Georgia.
On June 7, 1959 Tim married the love of his life, Gloria Ann Folsom of Quitman GA. Tim's career started with W.T, Grant Stores, where he set up and opened stores in 5 eastern states which led him and his bride to move frequently. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated a bait camp, was employed by the Brunswick Pulp and Paper Company, and also owned and operated a Golf Repair Shop where he built custom clubs. After his retiring from Georgia Pacific, he owned and operated Mr. Handyman’s and became commercially well known for his attention to details and his fine craftsmanship. He was an active member of the GP Retirement Club.
Tim loved his family and doted on his son and grandsons building tree houses and riding their recreation vehicles all over the property. He was a perfectionist in his work, over safety precautions, and being on time. His motto was, "if you were on time, then you were late." A fact he instilled in his son and grandsons. If he saw a need, Tim took care of it. Tim loved life and people and never met a stranger. He played 2 different string instruments, was a sharpshooter, and was interested in fishing until the golf bug hit. He and his buddies played golf at Glynco and then at Brunswick Country Club where he served several years as president. He was blessed to have 2 holes in one. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
