Born November 16, 1959 in Spartanburg, SC to the late A.D. and Mildred L. Calicutt he was a graduate of Brunswick High School class of 1979. Mr. Hames had been a resident of Glynn County for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed preparing Bar B Que for family and friends and spending time with his sons. He was a proud associate with Winn Dixie on St. Simons Island, among many other jobs.
Survivors include: his two sons, Joshua Hames and Matthew Hames both of Brunswick, and his siblings: Jerry Hames of Tampa, FL, Kathryn Cox of Easley, SC, Darlene Aliotta of Starke, FL, Ricky Calicutt of Ludowici, GA, and Alison Harmon of Eastover, SC and several nieces and nephews.
