She was a loving wife for forty-three years to Dwayne M. Purvis. Mrs. Purvis was also a devoted housewife and took great pride in providing a home for her family that was filled with love. She always thought positive. She told her family upon hearing of her diagnosis of cancer that she may not have had a lot of worldly material wealth, but she had lived a good long life and blessed with a wealth of memories that nothing could replace.
