

Will is survived by his wife of six months, Sawyer Day Ligon; his father and mother, William T. Ligon and Kim L. Ligon; his brother, Wyatt Ligon, and three sisters, Millie Ligon, Mary Lee Ligon and Anna Ligon; his grandparents, Rev. Bill and Dorothy Jean Ligon of Brunswick, Sonny and Reba Lee of Thompson, and Ricky Seckinger of Sylvania, along with many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Will was born on December 25, 2000. He was a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management. He was employed at Richard Best Construction of Bluffton, South Carolina.
Will loved his family dearly and cherished his time with them. He had a compassionate heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best friends, his brother Wyatt and his Dad. He was a devoted husband to Sawyer, a loving son to his mother, Kim, and a loyal brother to his sisters. He knew Jesus Christ personally as his Lord and Savior and is now in God’s presence.
Visitation will be held at Christian Renewal Church, Brunswick, Georgia, on Friday, May 8th, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
