Mr. Stock was born in Williamson, West Virginia on July 5, 1939, to the late William Frederic Stock, and the late Dorothy Lane. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, and an auto mechanic instructor for the Glynn County Board of Education.
In addition to his parent’s he is preceded in death by his brother Vernon and his sister Joyce.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years Edna Ruth Stock of Hortense, GA; five children Billy Stock, Joy Sullivan, Brytney Stock, Ed Howell, John Howell; fourteen grandkids Danielle, Dezi, Shane, Lynda, Summer, Bubba, Lizzie, Cody, Addyson, Casey, Leah, Justin H., Justin M., Preston; ten great grandkids, and other family members.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
