Wilma "Poochie" Ulrich

Wilma “Poochie” Ulrich, 83, of Brunswick, departed this life Friday, June 3, 2022 at SGHS Brunswick Campus. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm Tuesday evening, June 7, 2022 at Bay Harbour Church of God with Dr. John Harris officiating.

Born March 8, 1939 in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Charles True and Ella Mae G. Anderson, she had been a resident of Glynn County since 1966. She was a former switchboard operator at Glynco NAS. She also worked at Frederica Academy and was a homemaker as well. She along with her husband Jeff raised 165 foster children through the years. Mrs. Ulrich was a woman of faith and she prayed often. She was a very active member of Bay Harbour Church of God. She enjoyed walking, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Marie Copeland.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Ulrich, eight children, Cindy Copeland, Heather Ulrich, Kellie Jones, Jennifer Yates, Nicole Ulrich, Amanda Ulrich, John Ulrich, and Matthew Ulrich, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother, Donald Anderson and a sister Mollie Gwynn.
