

Yvonne T. “Von” Farrey, 75, of Brunswick, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at her residence. Memorial mass will be held 11AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Church with Father Will Logsdon officiating.
Born December 12, 1936 in Green Bay Wisconsin to the late Anton and Emerence L. Jenquin, she was a graduate of Marquette University, where she received a Master’s Degree in Business. Mrs. Farrey was an accountant and business manager, having worked for Kurtin Medical Clinic in Racine, WI, and Wink Chevrolet in Detroit, MI. A former resident of Jekyll Island for over 21 years she had also worked for the Jekyll Island Authority before moving to Brunswick in 2010. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and was a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul Society Thrift Store. Mrs. Farrey was an avid Mah Jongg player and was a member of the Jekyll Island Mah Jongg Club as well as the National Mah Jongg League. She also enjoyed gardening and biking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Farrey, and a brother, Anthony Jenquin.
Survivors include her sisters Janice E. Walters of Campbells Port, WI, Phronsie Van Blarcom and husband Roman Predrijevac of Prescott Valley, AZ, and Michelle Horner and husband Michael of Franksville, WI, step children, Carol Jacobson Musil and husband Jerry of Hartford, TN, Brian Farrey and wife Brenda of Rinard, IL, and Alan Farrey and wife Loretta of New Berlin, WI, ten step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and a brother in law Loren Farrey and wife Arlene of Mineral Point, WI.
