Hung will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret; his children, Pang, Rosana, Ann and Stephanie; and his grandchildren, Valarie and Vanessa.
Hung graduated from University L’Aurore (Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He married Margaret Lee, his childhood sweetheart, in 1950. He worked as an oral surgeon in China before he moved to Macau, then later to Hong Kong. He then worked as a dentist for the rest of his career. He retired and moved to Vancouver Canada in 1991. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed travelling, photography and good food.
Hung always had a great sense of humour and was young at heart. He was never one to take life too seriously and he was known for his nonstop jokes by everyone who knew him. He could bring a smile to anyone’s face and he truly had a joyful laugh that could brighten a day. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A celebration of Hung’s life will be held privately within the family on March 16, 2021 due to the current pandemic restrictions. In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made in Hung Lee’s name directly to Richmond Hospital at https://www.richmondhospitalfoundation.com/donate/
