Angeline "Angie" Pickering

Peacefully, with her family by her side, Angie passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 80.

Lovingly remembered, Angie is survived by her two children, two grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and one sister.

Born in Saskatchewan, her early childhood was spent in a small rustic log cabin constructed by her parents on the shores of the North Saskatchewan River. Angie would later describe these years as full of wonder and adventure, setting off her lifelong love of nature.

She truly lived her life to the fullest, keeping active and staying connected to nature. Whether camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, walking the beach or just sitting quietly, Angie loved to capture the splendor of all of God’s wonders through photography and painting.

Angie spent many years in the roofing profession, as a project estimator, after which, she had her own practice as a reflexologist and relaxation massage therapist. Her retirement was spent painting and enjoying life with her family and friends.

Her warm smile, great sense of humor, positive outlook on life and willingness to lend a helping hand is how Angie will be remembered.
