Born on April 12, 1935, in Basiliano, in the province of Udine, Italy, Anita was raised on a farm as the eldest of her siblings. From an early age, she learned the meaning of sacrifice, responsibility, and hard work — values that guided her throughout her life.
With courage and determination, she left her homeland as a young woman to begin a new life in Canada. There she married the boy from her neighbouring town in Italy, Nello Migotti, and together they built a family grounded in hard work, devotion, and commitment. Nello predeceased her, and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited in God’s eternal care.
Anita was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She leaves behind her children, Ken Migotti, Terry Migotti, and Jenny Migotti, along with her cherished grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
Her faith was a quiet but constant presence in her life. She prayed for her family daily and carried each of them in her heart. She will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, her spirited nature, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she raised, the values she instilled, and the prayers she offered for those she loved.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
May she rest in peace, embraced by the Lord and reunited with those who went before her.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
