Anna "Anne" Wanchulak

Anne passed away peacefully at Mayfair Care Centre in Calgary, AB on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the age of 91 years. She was born in Hamlin, AB, Anne lived most of her life in Calgary with her husband and children. Anne is survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by William, her husband of 66 years, in 2007, her daughter Irene Powers in 2008 and her son Glen in 1994. The family would like to thank the staff of Mayfair Care Centre for their extraordinary kindness and compassion. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to a charity of one’s choice. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
