Anna-Marie passed away peacefully in the loving arms of many angels in the Southwood Hospice. She was born in Viceroy, Saskatchewan to Danish immigrants. She is predeceased by her parents, son and brother. Anna-Marie was a loving mother, grandmother (Oma), great-grandmother (Omie), sister, aunt and friend.
Anna-Marie was a fun-loving, vibrant, colorful diva who enjoyed music and dancing. She was a strong, captivating woman who retained her sophisticated sense of humor to the very end. Anna-Marie will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Society of Calgary, 63 Cornell Road NW, Calgary, AB T2K 1J3.
