She is survived by her husband Clifford; her son Steve, and grandchildren Tristen and Shaylene and their mother Veronica. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Annette was born on October 29, 1938 in Creemore, Ontario. She worked at Safeway for twenty four years as a cashier and later on became a manager. Annette was known as the ultimate “hockey mom” and she was often referred to as “Mom” by all of the neighbourhood kids of Southwood. She was an eloquent dancer, a bingo fanatic, baker extraordinaire, beer connoisseur, and a lover of all things that involved Christmas. Her wonderful sense for adventure lead her to make many trips in the family RV.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Southwood Care Centre for the care that they provided to Annette.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Fraternal Order of Eagles (5 Street SE, Calgary) at a later date.
Messages of remembrance may be left for the family at www.southcalgaryfuneralcentre.ca
