I only knew Gedo for about 6 years. But in that time I got to know Gedo not by visits but through my little girls. The numerous visits they made with you both has certainly had an impact on both of them. They so loved going there to sing and laugh with him and I know from all the photo's that they always left him with a smile. Those visits with Gedu will certainly be missed by them both. But he is at peace now and most importantly reunited with BaBa. God Bless you Gedu you truly touched our lives in the short time I had to know you.

Our thoughts are with you in your time of loss.
 Anton and my dad (Nick) were fishing buddies.  I remember a time when living in Montgomery, we had all risen early to go fishing. While my dad was inside getting your Dad, I decided to get out, unfortunately, I closed the door and locked the keys inside.  Dad had to hitch a ride back to our house in Parkdale then hitch another ride back with an extra key.  By the time he got back our early start was not so early.  I don't remember if we caught any fish that day, but we made a memory.
     Our dads were close.  They always enjoyed their fishing trips.  Dad said that Anton always knew the good fishing spots and was willing to share his secrets.  I'm sure that our Dads are fishing together again in Heaven.

Mr. Belobersycky, it was a honour to meet you.  Thank you for sharing your childhood story with my family and I, when we first met in 2008, during your stay at Marianne & Greg's.  I enjoyed seeing you whenever you and Greg came to visit Marianne at work - I will miss your wonderful smiles.  May God keep you forever happy and safe in His arms.  My sincerest condolences to Marianne & Greg, and the entire Belobersycky family.

dear PAPI, i know you now for about 2 years and i remember the first day you came to live at my work,i will always remember that sad day when we left the unit and went for our outside walk as we arrived in the main lobby you had a visitor from the church and he sayed 'it's ok i will take him out" i knotted and gave your hand a squezze and let you go with him, later you came back in but you weren't happy anymore.i asked your daughter marriane what she tought the matter was and she spoke to you in your mother language and you told her that i just gave you away to someone else and that i didnt want you anymore,your heart hurt.
i tryed so hard to make you smile but it took a couple of hours and we where back to normal. well i needed to tell you that on monday when i arrived at work and was told the news about your passing i felt what you felt on that sad day.
hurt and confussed,you took youre sparkle with you, that special light in your eyes that you shared with me.
you where always happy to see me and your eyes showed it.
i will always have a special place in my heart for you and the memories,i'm sorry that i wasn't there to guide you and tell you that the angels are opening there wings to hug you and take you home and bring you to sonja,
All i ask is please look down once in while and smile at me.

To the Belobersycky Family:

No-one can argue with a life well lived!  What a priviledge to have known Gedu.  His sincere & tender love for his bride, the Lord, and for people was evident to all. A stop-over to Baba & Gedu's home always meant checking out the greenhouse & garden.  You could not get away with out being fed - and could always count on a discussion about life, and a story or two.  Thanks for sharing your life with us Gedu.  We know you are smiling now in heaven!  Many blessings to all the family at this time. You are loved!

My prayer's are with your family today . I remember riding the bus with Mr & Mrs Belobersycky and chatting up a storm as I lived in Montgomery where they lived for many year's . May you find peace and be blessed with comfort .

While visiting Gedu in the nursing home you come to realize how short life is and how great God is! Just imagine we will see him again soon!  Man, the mansion this man will have by the many he led to the Lord and the life he led.  He was so funny in the home ... I was chatting him up and he says "You know I am married" ... Marianne and I just lost it laughing!

The memories of your parents in the little house will not be forgotten. Your mom was very happy when we came and she always showed us her flowers and had a snack ready.

When sadness fills our hearts, sometimes we must believe what we can't see. May God show you the way to new hope,and happiness.

Gedo was loving, kind and sweet and always loved when Paikea and I came to visit him. One of my favorite memories was when Paikea and I sang a song to him. Gedo loved when we would sing him songs but his favorite I think was "See a Humba". Whenever we sang that song he would clap and hum along. Gedo always smiled and we knew he was happy.
A funny memory was when Paikea and I brought him balloons for his birthday and hers flew up to the roof. When we went back a few weeks later a Gorilla in the lobby was holding it.
We loved Gedo very much. He meant alot to me and everybody that knew him. Two years ago my Koro went to heaven and Gedo took an even deeper place in my heart and still is and always will be.
Gedo is not suffering anymore and is in a better place. He is probably shaking hands with my Koro and him and Baba are sitting in the most beautiful garden. I love you Gedo, Kaya. xoxo

As we've gotten to know your family over the past many years we appreciate the legacy that has been passed on by your Mom and now your Dad.  Know that you are being lifted up in prayer for God to wrap His arms of love around you and bring you His peace that passes all understanding during this difficult time. 

Praise God that separation from the ones we love is only temporary!!

Since I moved to Calgary and started working here at Bow View Manor, Anton was my first dance partner in Alberta! We always went for our daily walks outside to relax and get some fresh air! Anton will be greatly missed. It has been a great honour to have known  a wonderful person such as Anton. May my thoughts and prayers be with you at this time.

My thoughts are with all of you.  Praise God that both Anton and Sonja are reunited and at peace with their Lord and Savior.

We have very fond and precious memories of Papa Anton and your mother.  They were like our parents away from home (Lethbridge) while we lived in Calgary for 17 years.  Whenever we visited them, they told many stories that were interesting, funny and sometimes sad.  We always felt welcomed and they left us feeling loved just like family.  

They will be in our hearts and you are in our prayers.  

A special thank you to Marianne and Greg for bringing them into our lives.
